This morning I went into the kitchen wash dishes and when I came back into the living room Cortney had all the copies of The Friend we had and was reading stories to herself. There are a few she asks me to read everyday and she basically has them memorized. Then the other day came up to me and said "I need a hug!" Sometimes with a two year old I don't always feel like what I am doing gets through to her, but once in a while she shows me that I must be doing something right as a mom!
