Stair Master

Cortney has been stomping her foot lately when she gets mad.  So we needed to come up with a consequence, and we like more natural consequences, so we have her go up and down the stairs 10 times for every time she stomps her foot.  The other day she decided to push a little and stomped her foot 5 times, I am sure just so see what we would do about it.  That night she went up the stairs 50 times, it took over an hour. She was exhausted.

At night we take turns reading her books when she goes to bed.  That night Chris asked if he could read her a book, but only if he could carry her up the stairs.  She collapsed in his arms while saying, "That would be great!"  Point taken.  Since that day she has only stomped her foot once, and right away she realized what she was doing and stopped!

Ice Skating!

We went ice skating!  We all had a really fun time!  Even though this one is blurry I liked it because it shows the tongue thing she does when she is thinking hard or concentrating on something!  At this moment she was doing pirouettes on ice skates (but not on the ice).

We were pretty excited to get started!

I like this picture a lot!  Kind of shows what kind of mood Cort has been in lately.
Ahh, theres a good one of us smiling!

Here is a video I am trying to upload of Cort skating alone, I guess we will see if I can get it to work!

Disney Part 4!

Last Day!  The morning was very rainy!  Which is why Cort is all wet!  She is actually wearing my Alice in Wonderland Costume I had when I was little.  Only when I wore it I was 8, not 4!

Friday morning we told Cortney we had somewhere to go.  We went to Ariels Grotto for Breakfast and it was so much fun!  We were going down the staircase and that was when she saw Ariel was at the bottom!
She was in love!  Ariel was her favorite for a long long time!
It was a super cute restaurant!
They gave her a crown she got to decorate with stickers!
She wore it for the rest of the day!
He breakfast was a waffle, they made it look like a boat, cute!
Bell was the first princess that came around to the tables!
She reminded me a lot of my friend Carrie!
Snow White was next - who did the best job at acting like a princess!

Sleeping Beauty was her favorite - but to be honest she did not do the best job at acting, it seemed like she was having an off day, which was too bad.  Luckily Cort was so excited she didn't really notice.

 Cinderella came next!

After the breakfast we went back to Disneyland and found Alice and the Mad Hatter!  She was so excited!  The mad hatter asked her why she wasn't dressed like him instead, and she thought that was pretty funny!
 Over by the alice house!
We also met Aladin and Jasmine and the Genie!
It was a beautiful wonderful trip!  We had so much fun, cannot wait for the next one in 4 years!
