Happy Birthday Chase!

Today was my cousins birthday!  We went over the my Uncle Bill's and Aunt Julie's house to celebrate!  The little guy turned 2 today!  Sometimes he seems more like Cortney's cousin than mine, but we love spending time over at their house!

Evolution of Cortney's Hair...or the Lack Thereof

It has become an increasingly asked question to me if I keep Cortney's hair cut short to keep it out of the way.  And just for the record she has never had a haircut.  Here are some pictures to show just how much hair she actually has:

 I believe this was Cortney around the time she was 5 months, as you can see basically no hair here....

 This is a picture when Cortney was about 15 months old...still not much there... but she kind of has a little more coming in

This was the first time I attempted pig tails...I was desperate, but I loved them :)  At this stage we usually called them alien antennas, taken a couple months after the last one

Now she doesn't have much hair still, but it is a heck of a lot more than she used to have... These were taken with in the past couple weeks - so age 2 1/2.

Not a whole lot of hair, but she is a whole lot of cute!

Family Home Evening!

About a year ago I wrote a book, or a manual I guess, that is FHE lessons for small children.  I have been trying to get it published, but it looks like it wont work out - I am not letting that get me down though, I am making a website and posting them all there for people to use!  I worked hard on these, so please share them with your friends and family!

Exploring on Monday!

Monday Cortney and I decided to go exploring a little bit.  We went to this garden that is kind of hidden in Salt Lake and it was a nice little place, here are some pictures:

Last Weekend!

 Last weekend we went and watched daddy play his guitar for a little gig they had at a family reunion.  Cortney loves playing her guitar with daddy when he is playing his

 Even though she doesn't look very happy, I love how big her eyes get!  Very rarely is she this close and looking in the camera so you can see how pretty they are!

Bee's Game!

A couple Saturdays ago we went to a Bee's game it was a lot of fun!

 The game went into extra innings and so we got a little bored.  At one point Cortney had a lovely head dress on...

 The game ended with fireworks!  It was so much fun, and Cortney just loved it!

My Little Ballerina

The other day Cortney decided she want to be a ballerina, she took me by the hand to her room and picked out clothes she wanted to wear, and this is what it was:

She danced around all day, and since then she has worn it a couple more times.  She loves watching Angelina Ballerina, and loves to twirl around and watch her skirt fly up a little.  She isn't old enough to be in ballet yet, but I think that is something we are going to look into after this!

Secret Pictures of Ryan!

So I have really been getting behind on my blogging but I am trying to catch up!  A couple weeks ago we went the the zoo and my little brother Ryan was there.  I'm not sure how it started but somehow I started trying to take pictures of Ryan when he wasn't looking.  some times he would catch me and smile or try to turn away, but it has kind of turned into a fun game.  I even took some more when we went the the Bee's game - that post will come later.  Anyway we started calling them secret pictures of Ryan - here are some of the good ones!
